Comments on the findings of 2007 Coface Survey on Corporate Payment Behaviour in China

The French, German and European Chambers of Commerce are pleased to invite you to a conference cocktail in Guangzhou and Shenzhen on Corporate Credit Risk Management in China

It is not always easy for foreign companies working in China to set and manage payment conditions with their business partners. Which types of companies are trustworthy? How much credit should be extended? Which payment conditions should be set?

During his presentation, Mr Gan will expand on the following points:

• Accounts receivable management in Chinese and foreign firms in China.
• Payment conditions offered in China.
• Payment experiences in different economic sectors.
• Account receivable management systems used by Chinese companies.

About the speaker
Benjamin Gan, Singaporean, is the Senior Risk Manager of Coface China. He has been with Coface Singapore since 2001 and has been relocated to Shanghai in 2006. Over his years with Coface, Benjamin has experience in underwriting trade limits in the Asia Pacific region. He manages a profitable risk portfolio of our clients in China and he is also responsible for conducting credit research and analysis on corporates where Coface has key exposures.
